Strange lightng problem

I am running an Current Outter Orbit lighting setup (the one with 2 150w HQI and 2 130w PC actinics) and one of the HQI's seems brighter than the other...... Both bulbs are brand new 150w 14K Ushio bulbs..... why would one be brighter that the other?

Were the stock bulbs OK? Maybe you have a bad bulb.

did you try swapping the bulbs to opposite sockets?
