strange looking thing

Can anyone tell me what this thing is from...LFS has no idea.....I've found them about 6 times in the last 2 months. The snails will eat them, or I'll brush them away...

Looks like turbo snail eggs

+1 with snail eggs. I get them all the time. My Coral Beauty usually picks at them for desert.

Actually, they look like cerith snail eggs to me. My ceriths lay eggs in that patter about twice a week. Very cool to watch them do it. But most of the eggs become food for nassarius snails and whatever else finds them.
