Strange snail...

Bent

I got nothin'
I know I need a pic. But it's impossible to get a clear pic on my cell.

I saw a snail cruising around the back glass tonight that I've never seen before. I will do my best to describe it.

Shell:
Color is iridescent almost pearl quality. Shape is half egg shaped, similar to a cowrie, only flatter.

Meaty bits:
Visible antennae. Pretty slow moving even for a snail. No obvious whelkish proboscis. Meat completely envelopes the shell. Giving the shell almost a "nucleus" look to it. The overall shape of the meat is a similar silluete to a limpet. Very oblong. The meat is pretty clear. Clear enough to see the shell inside it.

Shape and behavior leans me toward some type of cowrie, especially with the meat covering shell like that. But I've never seen a translucent cowrie.

Ideas?

Here's a crappy cell photo, it's to the left of the clown.

Edit:
I managed to snag it when I was doing my nightly gorilla crab hunt, and got some better pics of it on my finger. It didn't bite, sting or poison me, so I guess it's ok:

Granted, this is just the shell and not much of the meaty bits. It was really slick and slug like:

Here you can see the tail end extending:

I was wondering how someone who's been around since 2004 and has over 2000 posts couldn't identify a stometella. Haha, it happens.

Yeah I dunno wth I was smoking last night. This is what happens when u mix reefing with PBR at 0100.
