Strange spots on Duncanopsammia axifuga.

So things have been going good in my reef for well over a year now with few losses. However, lately I've been watching some strange spots develop on my duncan. I've been wondering if it is the lack of some element but I'm not sure what could be the culprit.

I've tested what I could... Ammonia, Nitrite and Phosphate 0. Nitrate 0-5. PH 8.1. 8 dKH. Ca ~400. I've been using IO with walmart brand distilled water and have been pretty good about my water changes. Feeding mysis and cyclopeeze.

Any ideas people? Suggestions on other elements to test for? Iodine Mag? I just bought a box of Tropic Marin salt I'm going to start using.

Please excuse the photo, I bought this camera yesterday and am still learning how to use it. I know the white balance is off, the coral is not bleached.

The spots do not blow off at all it is the coral itself.

Looks more like it is bleached out and the spots are what is left of the algae.
It should hav alot more color to it.

Try spot feeding it different foods like mysid and small chunks of silversides to try and help it.

i wouldnt worry about it, if they dont blow off, if the coral looks happy, and it aint flat worms then i really wouldnt dip it or fool with it.

check mag or phos (but phos is a weird test, because basicly unless you have a ton, that which you do have gets used very quickly by any algae in your tank causing the reading to be zero) soooooooooooooooooooo

it is BLEACHED and will perish if you don't do something

Looks like it need more lights ..I saw one at a display tank at my LFS under some PC lights and looks just like the one above .
What type of lighting are you using ?
