I have some LR I bought with quite a bit of extras. There is a strange worm type thing, it's base seems to be sessile, after several months it has always just been in the same place. T theres just no way I can get a pic really. There are several large sponges on the rock, one is about a 3" round orange ball sponge. The base of where the worm extends is next to that. The worm extends its tentacle things over the whole sponge sometimes an inch or so past the sponge & the same distances in other directions. They are thin as fishing line & white. They dance around as if they are feeling around for something and not finding it bending in all directions. At first I thought it was stringy fishy poo that just landed there but then I noticed it gone, no trace, & back again. Doesn't seem nocturnal or not nocturnal. It is out & not out at various times day & night. Retracts back into the rock, buy there is halmida? & makes it hard to see if it is coming out of a hole or what. I would guess I usually see about 6 tentacles at a time. I don't know if it would sting coral or not there is nothing close enough to it. Really strange, any one have a guess?
