Strawberry Shortcake growth

Thought that id see what everyone thinks about the growth of my cake. The dates are on the pics and there is about 1.5 months growth inbetween pics.

The growth is amazing for only 1.5 months. It must have something to do with all that light, 2x400wMH-8xT5(54w)-2x36"VHO-LED MoonLT is a ton of light for a 120g. Color looks a little faded, does it look better in person?

yes it has the pretty pink/with greenish body like they usually do. I took the pics with my D3000s stock lense and it doesnt do a realy good job but for growth pic i figured its fine. I could pull out my 105mm F2.8 macro and get the color. But then i would have to resize it so small to upload here that it wouldnt be worth it.

IS your 120G 4x2x2? If so how did u fit all that light on there?

Yes it is actually 4x2x25" high, I built my own light. Made the reflectors and all the bracing.

that is wicked growth for 1.5 months! SSC is a slow grower

good to hear that mine isnt the only one growing really slow. thought it was because of placement

Mine really colored up but growth is really slow!

mine didnt do anythng for 3 months then it just took off, ill post another pic next month. it seems like it grows daily now

Nice growth and color. I was wondering when is the color green going to come out?

the green is there im just not good enough to capture it, pastel green at base and out towards the pink tips.

Op - very nice growth!! i have one now ive had for maybe a month, no change whatsoever but it did come in a less than desirable condition.
