Alicia,

If you have any problems. Happy to set you up with a gratis frag locally. If you are planning on coming to the BAR swap in Feb I can have one ready for you.

Awww, what a sweetie, thank you. I'll let you know how things turn out with the frag coming this week. Not sure I will be at the BAR swap...nothing to swap these days. It's always nice to connect though so I may have to shoot down. I'll let you know on both accounts:thumbsup:.

no idea...
other sps are fine.
i lost one to stn that had been in tank for about a week, one rtn after 2 days...

Wow all these pictures are amazing! I wish I can get my hand on a strawberry shortcake frag....its too bad I live in Montreal :( Haven't seen anything around! No ORA corals...nothing...maybe I should move to the U.S.!

definately not pink lemonade and definately strawberry shortcake.

Why did you think otherwise?

Being in Australia we dont have the definitive coral types of the ones you guys have in the US. There is often some confussion as to what best represents certain SPS in comparrison to the US ones.

I have had people describe my corals as pink lemonade AND strawberry shortcake...

OMG, that thing is Rad! How long did it take before it started tabling? Did you aquire it as a frag or a mini colony?

Deffenitly strawberry shortcake! And deffinetly one of the nicest i've seen! I can't wait tell my little frag looks like that a year or two from now lol.

I could be wrong but those look like 3 different types of coral all with the coloration of what we in the US call 'shortcake'. This is probably why he isnt claiming that they are for sure "the strawberry shortcake acro"

I also guess that he probably got those as wild specimens not as frags?

Well, not everybody...but I get what I give out and mostly I do try and spread the love around to folks :D.

I got my second frag of the Strawberry Shortcake from Cherry Corals today. It is looking a bit browned out, from shipping I'm sure, on the inner branches but all the red/pink is about as bright and nice as the pictures that dangerrr posted with nice happy polyps peaking out. I am feeling really good about this frag. If it holds on I think it will color up very nicely. I'm crossing my fingers.
