Hi Roger, I received my Stream 3 rock today and just wanted to check whether is supposed to be open at the bottom end? Mine is closed....When the pump is placed into the rock there doesn't seem to be much room for the backflush to work?? Thanks Andy
It is closed, since all of the intake and output is above the rock, it is not necessary that it is open and the opening on the bottom gets enough water through the top opening in the rock.
