Stream 6100 changing rotation

I did the first fresh water test run on my 8' long 300g yesterday and turned on the 6100 streams for the first time. I'm absolutely in awe of the power of these pumps. They are going to be all the circulation I need for this tank as I had hoped. However, after running them for several hours I noticed that they were no longer pointing in the direction that I had them set to initially. I am not using a multicontroller (it's to be a FOWLR tank) and they are meant to be on full all the time.

I'd really like them to hold their position though. I had one pointed at the opposite corner of the tank but after about 4 hours it was pointing at the middle front of the tank and the water was buffeting up to the top edge of the tank.

Any suggestions?

The post and arm are serrated, you must press firmly to mesh the serrated edges and then they should stay put.

Jeez, you're right. I thought I had it set in well but it wasn't quite all the way down. Sorry to bother you with that Roger.
