stream blockage alarm

I have a 2 x 6100 stream setup on a 7095 and this morning one of the streams blockage alarms started going off. I took the cover off the stream and cleaned out the assembly. There wasn't anything blocking it but it still wont work with out the alarm being activated. Is there something wrong with the driver or the stream?

Thanks

Double check that the upper bearing is not stuck to the magnetic rotor, there is a thread at the top of this forum detailing the parts.

Thanks, I didnt even notice that thread. I followed the instructions detailed in that thread and found that there were no frozen or stuck peices. Everything was free moving. After that I cleaned the impeller assembly thoroughly and still no love. Then I switched it out with the other stream and still nothing. I swapped driver boxes and the transformer power supply too. The only thing that worked was when I put the impeller from the non-op stream into the working one. I suspect it is the actual magdrive assembly of the powerhead??? Anything else before I send it back?

Also would I send it to marine depot or you?

Thanks

I dont see any large cracks. There are a bunch of tiny hairline cracks around the edge of the part that makes contact with the impeller magnet. It looks as though it is a replacable part. Wouldthat cause the magdrive to stop functioning? I tried breaking down everything one more time and still no luck.

Can you send it in without the transformer? The transformer just adds a lot of weight to the shipping.

I finally got a chance to send out that stream. I sent it priority so you should see it in the next couple days.

thanks
