Stream Controller Question????????

I have a 225 gal Reef run with Turbelle Pumps, and was reading all the Posts contained in this Forum , and came across a post from a Reefer that requested if a Stream could be driven with a old Power timer and your reply was no.

All the Venders that offer the Streams Clearly state the Following:
"Electronically controllable by all TUNZE motor controls".
Is the Power timer Not a Tunze motor control?

Confusing to say the Least!

The current generation 708/2 yes but the 708 powertimer in question came out almost 20 years ago- before the current pumps were even available. For that matter the 708/2 is just a 7091 with a special adapter for the 2002 and 4002 so it would be spending unnessecary money. The short answer, the pumps will make on all controllers presently offered as new current models. The 7091 and 7094 are the specific units for 6000 and 6100 as well as the 7240/2 series. The 7082/2 and 708/2 are the same controllers but with adapters for the 2002 and 4002 series.
