Stream for a 75 gallon

I was wanting some advice on what would be the "correct" stream setup for my 75 gallon mix tank. By mix I mean I have almost all types of corals in it, however they do tend to be confined to specific areas. My aquascaping is two hills with a valley in the middle of the tank. The sps are in the valley to right side, while the clams and softies are to the left side of the tank. I am wanting to increase my waterflow, to help with SPS growth, but I have no idea what would be appropriate for my size tank. Placement suggestions, quantities, controllers, etc... would all be appreciated. By the way, I do have about a 1-2 inch sandbed in the tank. Thanks.

I'm also in the process of looking for more flow in my 75 BB.

I'm looking at 2-6000 with the 7095 controller. But I wonder if a 6100 would be better. I dont want to spend the $$$$ for something that my SPS and LSP are not going to be happy with.

I dont want to consider the Wavebox for a 75 gal, it just takes up alot of room.

I would go with 2 6000 and a 7095, the 6100 is too much for anything but the highest flow demanding corals in a small tank like a 75.

Okay 2 6000's on a 7095 sounds good, however, where would you recommend placing them? I know this is hard to suggest without seeing my tank, but my aquascaping is pretty simple to imagine. I have two hills on each side of the tank and a single 10 inch rock in the valley. The SPS are on this small rock on the valley and the hill on the right side of the tank. Should I put one in each back corner facing each other, or on in the front corner on one side and one in the back corner on the opposite side? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

multi controller for a single pump

multi controller for a single pump

Okay, one last question hopefully. Your time is greatly appreciated. I am strict about how I budget for my aquarium. If I wasn't I would have to get a second house loan ;) I only have about $500 right now. I did some figuring, and found out that I can get a 6000 and a multicontroller for almost exactly $500.00. I can then wait a few months and buy the second 6000. My question is this, Can you run a multicontroller on only one pump? I don't want to buy a single and then turn around and buy a double. Another idea I had was to buy one 6000 with single and later buy another 6000 with single, however, I am not sure if this would create flow as optimal as two on a multicontroller. Just trying to pick your brain a little bit. Thanks again for all of your time.

Yes, you can run one pump on a multicontroller.

Pump positioning is best done by trial and error but a general guideline is to place them about 4-6" from the top in a back corner aimed diagonally across the aquarium.
