Stream Impellor Problem

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help.

I recently stripped all my streams down and cleaned them all. After putting them back in the tank I noticed that one of the 6080's is intermittently stopping and then restarting. I'm assuming this is soething to do with the brakes, but I cant seem to get it going.

Any idea would be much appreciated.

The usual causes are collar (bush bearing) is not properly installed or the red oring at the bottom of the upper bearing was lost.

!!!!!!!!!! Red O-ring........hmmmmmm.

This should sit under the magnet I take it?

If so I think I have indeed lost it!

I don't know all the dealers in Britain, Paraquatics is the only one I am familiar with, also be sure the magnet is seperate from that upper bearing, they should be two seperate pieces freely moving on each other and the red o ring goes at the very bottom.

It is about 10:45- not too early anyway

By what you described those are the only two possibilities for the brakes to not line up, so that was an easy one.
