Stream maintenance problem

I heard an alarm coming from the box that is connected to the stream. So I thought that since it's been about 9 months, maybe it is time for a cleaning. Took it apart (kind of ) cleaned out the cylinder where the magnet and propeller slide into. Also cleaned the surface of the magnet. Pulled the bottom piece off and cleaned the four little holes. Put it back together. Ran fine. A couple of days later, the other stream did the same thing. (I know, I should've done both at the same time) I took out the propeller assembly and when I did, I saw a small orange gasket
sitting there near the opening. I have no idea where this gasket goes. I looked at the other pump and can't find a gasket anywhere. I'm afraid to run the pump without it. Can someone describe in exact detail where it goes? Thanks.

It goes at the very bottom of the hole, the black disk with the center hole and 4 square notches goes over that and then the magnetic rotor assembly goes on top of that.
