Stream Problem

Roger last night at about 4am one of my control boxes started this scream. Boy that thing is loud!! Anyways it seems my pump quit working. I checked to see if there was maybe a snail or something caught inside but there was not. I did not remove it from the tank yet so I have not had the shroud off but when I get home tonight is there something specific I should look for? This is the first time this has happened to me. I just cleaned the pump and inpeller unit last week so I know everything is clean. Thanks for any help.

The most frequently ignored parts that will cause this problem is a upper bearing stuck to the magnetic rotor by lime, this is often not noticed because they can look like one piece when fused. Otherwise if the hole in the magnet is plugged this will cause the alarm to sound as well.
