Sorry for the basic question, but I can't seem to find a clear suggestion on the Tunze web site (hint hint).
I'm bringing up a new SPS reef tank, 60" x 24" x 15" (roughly 93 gallons).
I plan to use Tunze stream pump(s) for circulation/wave action (exclusively, no other power heads in the tank. High volume overflow/return provided by a Dolphin or Mag pump).
I think the obvious choices are:
1) One 6101 plus a 7091 controller (TS12 kit), pump mounted 10 cm below surface level in a back corner pointed at the front of the tank at roughly 30 degrees or
2) Two 6101's plus a 7095 controller (TS24), pumps mounted as above but in opposite corners, cycling back and forth
Does this sound right? Anyone care to argue for the $900 solution vs. the $400 one?
Thanks!
