Stream Wire Question

I am planning a future 500g tank that will be viewable from all four sides. As such, I would like to have the wires to the (4) 6100 streams I plan to use for flow come up from under the tank through a hole in the overflows in the center of the tank. I can't find any information but are the wires from the stream to the transformer hard wired or is there a connector? If so, how big is it, a rough number will do. If there is no connector what is the size of the transformer (so I can see about putting it through a pipe)?

You can open the driver box and unplug the pump, it uses a 6pin Molex connector, about 1/2" square.

Good question! I was also wondering the same.

I would also like to know if there is any caution that should be taken when opening the driver?

Just that your hands aren't wet, no static electricity and that the power is unplugged.
