Streams moving my sandbed

I have 150g 48x24x31 that has been setup for 3 weeks. In side I have 2 streams 6100 and 6000 connected to a 7095 multicontroler.

My problem is my sandbed keeps getting moved around. I have them on Internal 1 with the timer at 10mins alternating between 30% - 40%

The streams are on oposite sides of the tank, currently they are as far up and back in the tank as they can go and they are pointed slightly to the back of the tank. I had them glancing flow off the front glass but that caused the sand in the front corners to get erroded out, then I pointed them directly at each other and the sand on the ends of the tank would get errorded out, now pointing slightly back the sand around my rocks is erroding out.

Here is a picture of the sand before:

Any ideas?

Thanks,

as the tank matures and bacteria colonize all the sand it'll cut down drastically on the duneing of the sand, I've got 2x 6100s in my 75g with 1.5" sand and they run interval 2 & pulse 30% - 100%

Thinslis,

As you add corals the flow will change a lot and the sand will not be moved as much and as Jetcat USA mentioned the sand will compact a lot as the aquarium ages. In the real world corals and marine life deal with a lot of sand due to climatic changes in the tropics and this is not a big issue.

Thanks =) I redirected the streams to point off the front glass and I didn't see any changes in the sand so that is a good thing.
