Stubborn Aiptasia

I need some help with some pesky aiptasia. I've tried lemon juice and AiptasiaX, and neither seem to be doing the trick. The lemon juice just ****ed them off and made them put out spores and multiply. The AiptasiaX appears to work at first, but after a couple weeks they start popping back out. And it's not spores, it's the original aiptasia coming back out. Any other ideas?

I would look into the more natural options. Nudibanch and peppermint shrimp are hit or Miss unless you find a proven one someone will lend or sell to you.

Berghias worked for me in the past. Sodium hydroxide also worked for me in another tank where the outbreak didn't need me to spend the effort in getting the berghias.

I actually can say i have the EXACT same experience. Really annoyed at the aptasia X not working since i paid for it.
Next time i visit my father, im going to grab one of his (used) insulin needles and hopefully inject them with some baking soda mix.

Any one know of a sure fire way (not natural). I have about 4 total, couple in the sump too.

Get the file fish........ I have a 200g which is 7 feet long. I had aptasia bad. He cleaned it out in about two weeks. You can get it out when he is done. They are very easy to catch. I found the one I have now, does not touch corals, so he's a keeper. He waits up at the top of the tanks front glass for me to feed him.

I will check my tank when I get home to see what I've got left. Just a note on berghia, they take a while to establish and make a difference. I thought I lost them all until one day I started seeing eggs. Then I started seeing more berghia than aiptasia and now I have trouble keeping them fed. Anything you add to your tank to eat aiptasia will also eat the berghia.

It's only a 34 gallon tank, would it take long for the nudi to do much?

In my experience yes, depending on how many aiptasia you have and the count of berghia it could take a while. For me 4 - 6 weeks I started noticing a difference. But you are talking about complete extermination if berghia survive and nothing eats them.
