Stuck at home, some fish pictures

Beautiful pics! I always enjoy looking at your tanks. :) Sorry to hear that you've had to go through so many surgeries--I hope you recover quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Thanks a lot. The pain gets less everyday -- as long as I am not stupid, which is hard to do. ;)

Was able to clean the 40 breeder yesterday and got some pictures.

3 of a kind. --- I used to have 2 percs, but I left the netting off one day, and the female jumped :(. I tried to get another perc, but it came in DOA, so went with a black & white O, for something different.

The bangaii cardinals, not sure if they are ever going to pair up, or fight -- been together for about 5 months now. At least I have other tanks to move them to if things go South

The goby/shrimp pair (( used to have 2 gobies, but lost one in the move -- it went into a rock, and never saw it again )).

I manage to keep them busy, since I gravel vac with each water change.

Todd, Amazing pics yet again! I love your Venustus dwarf angel very colorful. Can't wait to see your 75 gallon tank. Looks like the LTAs are still doing well by your preview.

can the coral beauties change to a more bluer color as it matures? i have a young cb with more of an orange body. i really like the bluer look.

Gorgeous! No football today so you are my entertainment du jour

Thanks a lot Steve -- yeah, it was odd not having any football to watch.

nice photos

Thanks a lot.

Thank you.
I think that Venustus is my favorite dwarf -- that I have.
Yeah, the LTA is doing well, it moved a tiny bit when I moved a powerhead, but still in the same general area.

I believe that where they are collected plays a role, but I think that age might too -- here is a picture of it from Aug 2010, seems that it has gained some blue,

Thank your for sharing your beautiful pictures! I can tell that you really enjoy them and that they too, enjoy you!

Thank you for looking, and for your comments.

Todd, gorgeous pictures :D. I wish I could take such nice clear pictures of fish. I have wanted a multicolor for years, but my resplendent hybrid would be unhappy and make the multicolor pay for it dearly. Someday though :-).

Thanks a lot -- it takes 10 pictures to get one good one. :)

Just get another tank. ;)

I released the Potter's the other day (( Sunday )), my blue dwarf angel (( think of a solid blue C. nox -- it hasn't been officially named yet )) chased it a bit, but that has stopped completely. It is picking at the rocks and sandbed all the time and is eating the prepared foods I have put in the tank.

I hope to clean that tank tomorrow and will get pictures of those fish.

So the odds of me cleaning the 75 tonight are slim to none -- had my first PT yesterday and I am having troubles getting around, even with 2 pain pills and 2 muscle relaxers. However, I did manage to suck it up and take a couple of pictures.

First, the Potter's.

Also was able to get a shot of my blue dwarf (( similar to an C. nox )), that hasn't been officially named yet -- at least to the best of my knowledge.

I've admired that fish since you got it, so beautiful! Could it just be a different color variation of a Nox? Like how the deep water CB is much more orange than say yours which is almost solid purple?

Ouch. :( Hope it gets easier fast.

My LFS has a couple of those angels in (the owner is an angelfish nut). They're calling them deboraie.

Yeah, I seen that article. Talked to Luiz (( think I spelled that right -- he posts a bunch of great pictures of rare fish that he sees in the wild )) a while back and he stated that that name hasn't become official yet, and it could change.

beatiful pics! inspiring to a newbie like myself :)

Thank you very much.

you have a golden dwarf,right?

HAD.

Long story short,,, it was in a 58 with a mated pair of pink skunks that were very very aggressive. One day they were attacking the golden, it finally chased them back to their S. haddoni anemone. The golden got too close to the anemones and.....

Before it was an expensive lunch,
