Stuck fish

Is it possible for a fish to get stuck in a rock and die. I had to use a clip to get him out, he was stuck head first in a rock. Flame angle had no signs of sickness or anything. Water test are fine. tank has been running for a few years had him for 10 months.

Really mad since a fairy wrasse decided to jump out of my tank last week.

I had to break a rock open to get my coral beauty out before. How it got in I don't know, but couldn't get out. Kindda made me laugh at the time.

It is possible. I dont know how they get in there. Maby if they were scared by something and went full speed into the rock and got wedged in there.....but i dont know.

i had a purple psuedochromis swim into a rock and try to exit from a smaller hole. ended up with only the face sticking out of the hole. unfortunatly i found it after it had its face eaten off by hermit crabs while it was still alive...

My Royal Gramma did this a couple of years ago. Didn't know it at the time, but after being MIA for a week or so, upon searching, I found his decomposing body in a rock crevice.
