This has probably been touched on before but I can't seem to find it in the threads. I've been lazy cleaning my tunze 6100 and now the impeller shaft is stuck in the body. anyone have any ideas on how to get it out. I've trying pulling straight out fairly hard but no dice. if i pull too much harder i'm afraid i'll break it. I'm going to let the whole thing sit in a vinegar soak overnight and try again in the morning...other than that i'm stumped...

Pretty much you will have to break it. You can try pulling it out after a few days soaking. Otherwise it is best to try a slide hammer or using a screw to drive into the magnet and give you something stronger to pull on. You are also welcome to send it in but either way you will likely need a new drive unit.
