Well, my kids want to go to Petbox and look at the dogs and rabbits just about every day, so that means I go about every three to four days... really.

So I thought I'd let people know what they have out there, atleast the more interesting type stuff.

Randall's Goby - Amblyeleotris randalli

Blue Dorid Slug - Hypselodoris bullocki

Electric Scallop - Lima scabra

really cool, flashes "electric" pulses at it's mouth.

Man, that scallop looks heathy as can be, this is in a fish store? I've had a little luck in keeping them, but it was easier in smaller groups somehow. Nice variety of livestock available to you. TinMan

ohh yeah....from what im told tinman, the are on the w. side of 58 in front of lester...back in your day the ocean came right up to the highway. Well, now there is a town there. haha. Rather large tourist attraction also. Thats where petbox is, and its your local pet store.

The place is really really really hit or miss for healthy fish stuff. I refuse to put any of there water in my tank if I do buy something from them....

If you ever get the chance, you should check out some of the LFS on the mainland, there are a couple of guys from Japen here at RC, There would probably be more but I'm sure there is that language barrier thing. Speaking of barriers, the Great Barrier Reef would make an excellent place to take leave if you can catch a "hop" to Australia. It might be worth looking into.
The "rock"has really changed since I was stationed there, but it really does'nt surprise me at all, it being an island and it's location. TinMan

I would love to run to australia! Would love to see it/snorkel it!

We have a few mainlanders that frequent this area of RC from time to time. Dana is on here all of the time. In fact he helped Dastank get his tank shipped.

I've been to several LFS here in Tokyo (not the best ones I'm sure), but nothing compares to what they have readily available in Okinawa! (Salivating at the thought!)

Great finds Teto!

I always thought flame scallops that were open wide like that weren't healthy. (I think that is what it says in one of my invertebrate books).
