Stuff to get at the Frag swap or sooner...

So here is my list of stuff ive decided that i need to make my new tank perfect. The purpose of posting it is to find out if anyone will have any of it at the frag swap so i dont buy it new...

SCWD
Marineland Tidepool S.O.S. skimmer box
Quiet One 3000 or 4000 for return
PVC (home depot) or would flexible tubing work as well? just a side question...
Glass for baffles (Anyone know a Lowes around? none in Miami and home depot doesnt do glass)


Idea is to use the quiet one as a return/closed loop figured the high rate of the pump will be cut by the 3 feet of head and SCWD to low enough, if not ill throw in some extra elbows to cut it down a little bit more..

20L display with a 29 fuge...

also i forgot to put on the list i need the 29 for the fuge... dont really wanna go paying 40 bucks for a tank in a store...

i got a quiet one 3000 you can have for $25.not sure of the age,but works fine.i can hold it and bring it to the swap if your interested.

hey r00onmac, they have glass panes you can use at home depot. I dont know if the one on bird has it, but I know that I had a late night aquarium bug bite me and I went to the one on 8th street and 27th ave thats open late...... i think till midnight. They had glass by the window section. just make a left when you enter the store, its like the third b4 the last aisle

8th and 27th you say? 80 blocks is a bit much for $10 worth of glass...

i know there were some people recently with loads of free sand because they had extra... just wondering if anyone has any left so i dont have to drive way up north to meet with treeman... if not i guess i have to make the trip..

adding more to the list and updating with what i would LIKE to spend...:

visi-therm stealth heater 75 or 100 watts... - 10

Any tank that is <38" wide, <14" deep, <25" high that i can partition into a fuge and return... AGA 29 and 30 fit perfectly... - $20 max

float valve - not the electric one the plain one that is open when it sinks and closes when its floating upright... Kent and coralife make them... do i need to drill to put this into the return chamber? - $?

sand - as free as possible (its mostly for my fuge anyway) ... no more than treeman charges so $6 for 40 lbs

SCWD deal is worked out, Quiet 1 3000 deal is worked out, got overflow box from Zurcsreef last night... im sure im forgetting stuff

hey, i have some glass you can have, ill bring some, its a lil on the thick side, i believe its 1/2" and the pieces are about 6 X 18
