What size tank?
What lights?
How deep is your sandbed? (( M. doreensis are sandbed dwelling anemones ))
What are your current water parameters -- with numbers
How long has your tank been set up?
What color is the anemone?

The tank is a 80 long it has been set up for approx 3 months however all rock and most of the sand was taken from my old tank which was up about 7ish months. Parameters are in check temp is about 77 nitrates are under 10 nitrites are 0 ph is 8.4 and no ammonia. The sand bed is approx 3.5 inches deep maybe only 2.5 at the lowest points. The nem is green with purple tip looks very healthy I will post a pic when I get home. Lights are 4 t5s with moonlight leds. Right now they are the factory bulbs but I plan on replacing them with ATI bulbs soon

"in check" doesn't tell me a whole lot. Need the actual numbers. What is your salinity/SG and how do you measure it?

in that picture you see that he is on a rock that was just where i put him when i put him in the tank i read that they liked to foot through a rock so they could retract in if they felt threatened. i have since read to try to dig a crater in the sand so i tried that also and no luck

They will often move around untill they find a spot they like. So if he stops and you turn power-heads on he may move again. Its best to leave system normal and let him find a spot.

but if he never seems to find a location then water quality or other reasons would apply , like lighting and amount of flow used.

No reason for my salinty to be low that's just what it came out to. I will add some when i get home to bring it up. How does everything sound? does it look healthy to you all?
