I purchased a pink stylo today and while driving home I was happy to see that I got my first acro crab. It had a bright white shell with a line that connected its eyes and redish claws and legs. I always use ReVive to dip my coral and since I couldnt get the crab to come out on its own, my plan was to dunk the coral in Revive and then it would start to come out. This worked perfectly, but I forgot to get a cup with water from the tank to put the crab in. My wifes friend was over and I told her "go under the tank in the cabinets and put water in this plastic cup." She ran off and brought me back water. I used a toothpick and knocked the crab off into the cup of water. It was moving all around in the cup, a few minutes later it was dead. I figured being in ReVive for just seconds must have killed it. 30-minutes later while I was driving to Blockbuster I was thinking how cool it would have been to have an acro crab, I realized something. I was not very specific enough when I told her to go get water. When I got home I had her point to me where she got the water from. In my head I knew exactly where she was going to point..... the container with RO water. Sadly, I was right. What a stupid mistake on my part. I was looking forward to having an acro crab... poor little guy got a bath in 72* RO water that probably has a ph of around 7.
