stupid question Re: rbta

I have had a rbta for about 4 months and it never had bubble tips. Last week I started dosing some things to get my parameters more dialed in (I thought they were) and am in the progress of reducing nitrates. I just noticed it is getting some pretty good bubble tips and showing more color. I'm assuming its responding to the better water quality but is there anything in particular that would prevent the bubbles for appearing on the tips?

It's the million dollar question, not sure if there is a definitive answer on why some bubble and some don't. Me personally I like the longer more flowy tentacles. I'm sure there are many on here with prestine water..... with no bubbles but if it's working for you, you have your answer.

My four babies (3 from the same mom) have large bubbles all the time. I've always attributed that to the fact that the two clowns that nurture them, feed them as do I. Most people don't.

It now has been fully opened up for a couple days. Looks like a sunflower- smooth round center with mouth fully visible in center and short tentacles that have more pronounced bulbs and better coloring. Used to have much longer tentacles and hardly ever saw mouth. Sound like anything in particular?

This is a question iv wondered mysel, and have never come up with anything to back up any teal answer.

I have a mate that has a tank with a rbta in it that about a ft wide, over the past 4 years it has always had great looking bubble and iv seen his tank have all sorts of problems and it still has bubbles, the only thing i think you can put it down to is each to there own
