one of my ballast burnt out on my PC (Current USA) 2 x 96 W, was wondering if I could replace it w/ any 96 W ballast and if so do I have toput the end piece on that fits onto the bulb, anyone know of a good cheap ballast that has the square 4 pin style?
Thanks ahead of time, Steve

It seems that they would be using one 2x96w ballast instead of 2 1x96 watt ones. ReefGeek has a 1x96w and a 2x96w. This could also be used as an excuse/reason to upgrade or try something different!

Is it one fixture with 2x 96 watts or two seperate ballasts wired together. You can wire any end caps that you wish. I think Aimfish is right I think that they would use one ballast, I don't know but I wouldn't think that you could fit two sepperate ballast's in on fixture. You would have to take it apart and look to see what room you have. replacement ballast are cheap but you might want to check out T5's. They look great on all the tanks down B/B.

thanks guys, I did take it apart because I wasn't sure if it was the ballast or switch, but found it to be the ballast, ordered one from PA, just two wires to hook up and cripmp a end on.
