Stupid TDS question

Ok so I finally got around to changing my filters in my RO since I actually have time now and my TDS is reading 17!?~ ANy ideas if I am stupid and put something in wrong?

I dont get it and I am ready to throw it out the window. Its been running for a few hours now...

I had to run mine for nearly 24 hrs straight before it got down to zero. I still have to run about a gallon through it after it sits for a couple days to get it back to zero.

just changed mine as well, it started at about 30, then slowly got to 5,3,2,1, after about 7 hours.
