jumped on me today, came home and found him dried up. and, twice my nice firefish tried jumping but hit the hanging fixture haha

i think its from my clowns (they have a batch of eggs in 1 corner) so i think they're freakin out the fish. stupid clowns.

can anyone tell me some nice colored fish that are reef safe and wont jump?

I lost a fire fish, red flasher wrasse, diamond goby, and a neon tetra that way too. my friend lost a diamond goby and a yellow coris...suicide jumpers....

Sorry to hear your loss. Is your tank eurobraced by any chance? One thing I noticed is that my eurobracing keeps my Diamond Goby and now my recently added pair of Fire Fish in my tank. When they freak out, they dart to the front of the glass or corners and go straight up, but due to my eurobracing, they just end up head butting themselves back down to the water. My Diamond Goby once in awhile does it (but not as much) and hopefully my new pair of Fire Fish will learn quickly.

MY FUGGIN STUPID MIDAS BLENNY WAS FOUND DRIED UP IN THE BACK OF MY TANK LAST WEEK!...and I am EUROBRACED!

My Mystery Wrase did the jump too. He was such a *****en fish. Apart fom that just knowing what I paid makes it even worse. I guess the movie Nemo isn't to far from the truth

i hears that wrasses are notorious for that kinna stuff.... didnt expect it from my Blenny... lucky my LFS didnt know what they were selling and gave me the Blenny @ the price of there YELLOW WATCHMEN GOBY  i guess that is just GOD "Givith, GOD Taketh away!"

Try using egg crate (ceiling light diffuser) on top of the tank. Doesn't block light like glass does, but it will be much more difficult for a fish to jump through and out of the tank.

it'll cut the light intensity though

You just need to put it like a Euro-Brace. Just around 3-4 inches around the edge so it can hit it.
