Stylocoeniella Growth Form

I bought a Thorn Coral frag from That Pet Place, which is identified as Stylocoeniella spp. I've had it in the tank for a few months, and it seems to be doing ok in that the polyps are consistently out and extension is as good as the day I brought it home. But, it doesn't seem to have grown much at all.

So, I'm trying to figure out the best place in my tank for its forever home. Is anyone out there familiar with this coral? Do you know anything about its growth form? Encrusting? Digitate? Ball? And do you have any hints for best care? Lighting? Feeding?

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response! Is it relatively peaceful? Or will it battle or overgrow other corals? If it needs space unto itself, I could let it encrust along stuff that's more in the background. But, if it plays nice, I've got a sweet spot right in the middle between my pink and my green monti caps, behind my tenius, that would look pretty sweet.
