Styrofoam under tank

The sides and back of the stand are good to go, its the middle of the front side that is posing the problem. It's not a high spot, its one low spot along the front of the trim that has me concerned. Frustrating to say the least.

Might be a good time for fotos if possible. And obviously I agree with nano. The answer is - yes it can be done. There is always the possibility a tool rental, or call out to your local reef guys for some help. Dont be frustrated-this is easily corrected. Again though, we dont know the level of perfectionism you are going for. Just for example with your low spot in the center. You would hold your six foot level with the top edge at the bottom of the low spot- and level. Then you would scribe a line across the top of the level so you would have a line going from either side of the low spot- which you could use to guide the sawing or sanding. Then you would be level.

After getting home and looking at it, I should be able to make a few shims and slide them under there relatively unnoticeable. And if somebody notices that with a 200 gallon reef sitting on top of it, well, then they are paying attention to the wrong stuff.
