Submit T-shirt designs here

Here's my attempt at designing the club T-shirt. If club members agree to this design, I'll need a better resolution copy of Joey's logo before proceeding. Note that this blue is not necessarily the color we go with. It is also possible for me to select multiple colors, if people would rather have a choice of colors.

While I like our club logo and web URL on the back, I'm thinking that for a second printing of the shirt on the back we can take off the URL and replace it with the announcement of the West Tennessee Frag Swap 2007 when the time comes, for people at the frag swap who want a shirt.

Looks great!

Another design might be to shrink down the club logo and putting it on the front left (heart patch) and moving what you have on the front to the back.

I have a "camera ready" version of the club logo I can add the website to it.

I screen print custom tee shirts for a number of restaurants in Memphis, let me know if I can help.

having a lot of coverage with white might cost extra cause it will have to be hit twice. one coat of ink and then cured and printed again. it takes more ink. but then again some shops don't charge extra.

Should be about $12 each for double sided silk screen 100% cotton, a buck or so extra for XXL.

I'd prefer the unusual side (i glue animals...) on the front where I can see the expression of people reading the shirt. A smaller logo would be harder to read, which is why I'd prefer it on the back and sized larger. Joey, can you find a higher resolution of your logo?

Thanks.
Jay

not bad at all really.

i printed shirts for a few places around memphis for 5 years and 12 bucks for a short run isn't a bad price. just make sure it's a 100% cotton and not a 50/50.

I've done two shirt designs with these guys this past year, each time double screened, and i really like their 100% cotton shirts. I'll see if they'll email me with a color palette and if they will do a variety of colors or prefer to just stick with one color.

If you run into a lot of "I want it this way instead of that way" kinda thing you might try here.

There are other online sources that are probably cheaper and something like this would really be for someone that wants something different as they will use your artwork and do one offs.

Here's the flyer which shows several t shirt colors:

We need to decide if we should stick with one color for sake of unity (i.e. if we all show up at a large outing like the frag swap should we have the same shirt color) or be able to choose our own color. We can also select white ink on a darker color, or black ink on a lighter color. Here are some examples (white on dark gray, white on maroon, black on light gray, black on natural).

Is anyone going to submit another design?

The faster I get some feedback the sooner we can get shirts!

Yeah, there needs to be a time limit on submitting a design. I would think Wed Aug 1st would be sufficient.
I vote gray (athletic heather) with black ink and one other color.

im kinda with cabin3tguy on that, i know you never please every one, so if the most of you vote that than keep it the same, but what if there are members that have FOWLR tanks,

Do you think the text is high enough that the shirt can be tucked in or would it be better to put it above the graphic?
Can you post a high res. image of the WTMRAC logo when you get it?

Honestly I like the very first one you had at the top (blue with white) Even if it cost a few bucks more I like that one! Also I think the glue animals to rocks would be a great conversation starter. What better way to be able to start teaching people the positive things we do with our hobby. Back 10 years ago I did not know anyone else who raised corals and all my livestock was wild caught. Now all my corals and some of my fish were captive raised.

I like the "I glue animals" for that very fact Sanford, that is is a conversation starter. It certainly requires a sense of humor though! ;.)

Jay,

I personally like all the design variables. Honestly, I would buy whatever is chosen for our club design so long as it doesn't have profanity, naked people, or confederate flags on it. I say just pick one and go for it! Thank you for designing the T-shirt. Amy

It was a tight battle between all the submissions but it looks like Jay's graphic won by a nose.
