Can't Decide on a Substrate for what I want to do on the 24 gallon. To do white rock like they do in Frag tanks or I really like the Caribsea Fiji pink. Decisions, decisions..

Do you like the fiji pink?. I don't want something that catches a lot of nutrients.

It's not bad. The pink isn't as vibrant as you'd expect. I went with Hawaiian black on my nuvo and it's amazing.

Yea I had it in my 57. Now it's in a 3 gallon...talk about a deep sand bed lol

Wish I would have that forethought. I started with crushed coral and couldn't get my nitrates down to save me till I switched to sand. Was monumental pain in the, well u know.

Thank you, If I could do it again. I would have paid a little more and went rimless. Also if you are doing rockwork, I would buy marco rocks mortar. You can build some cool shapes that are hard to do just by stacking. The latest scape was done that way and I like it.
