Such thing as too much flow for Bangaii Cardinals

I read somewhere that the males dorsal fin has a longer extension on it, one of the fish in the paired group has that, the other 2 do not.

Last breeding pair I had, the female had the longer fins. Again, that's not always going to help.

Just read in the second site nasek782 suggested and in there they mention the male has the longer second fin.

Yeah, I saw that too. I still don't think it's a very good method of sexing them. The male CAN have a longer fin, but not always. Now the small pair I have right now, maybe 7 months old or so, the fella I have dubbed as "male" does seem to have the longer fins, but his "mate" is a month younger and noticably smaller still. We'll see how they look as they mature.

As my X would say "I am just going to say this one more time" that is why she is the X, LOL. I went thru 4 different batches of them before these survived, first group bought at a LFS, just got home and a woman I was dateing that work there called me that there system crashed, lost them and other fish, 2nd batch from DFS in Dec, lost them over a 4 week period 1by1, fustrated, Feb ordered 3 more from DFS, same thing, I had 2 huge long tenicle stars which are noctunal and nasty, got them in a clean up crew package, moved in May and got rid of the stars when I had to break down the tank, ordered 3 more Cardinals, last time if they do not make it, no more, doing great!!!!!! First batch sick, and since I never found the bodies or the other 2 purchases, I suspect the stars of doing them in, since the stars are gone and this batch are still here.
