Sudden Death!

One of my Blue/Green Chromis suddenly died this evening. It was swimming fine and just suddenly began swimming on its side and struggling to move. Began laying on sand bed and kind of darting suddenly ever few minutes until it died...No idea what happened! Tested the water after and found...Amm. 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10, Ph 8.3, SG. 1.022...

Its fins and parts of its body became quite dark, almost black the closer it got to death. After taking it out of the tank, it was very dark.

Any ideas on what this could be? I am worried about the rest of my fish, especially my Puffer!

Chromis are sort of hit and miss. I started with 9, one died, one went carpet surfing......

It very well could have just been his time.

Do you run carbon? I would do a small water change along with some carbon.
