Sugesstions on Lfs in Syracuse

There is a small shop next to the Westvale Plaza. It's a quaint little shop in between a laundromat and liquor store. It's called ABC Reef's, you'd like it. Just don't get into the habit of stopping by the Liquor store on your way home...haha. JK, ABC Reef's IS the only Reef Store in Syracuse. There is another fish store but we aren't allowed to say it here because our chair's might catch fire(they are the devil) hahahahaha.

Don't even say it's name lest you be struck down. That place is the reason ABC exists. Tim got sick of getting screwed over by the only game in town. He decided to take matters into his own hands. First as a basement shop advertising in the paper, then on to what you know as ABC today, with special thanks going out to his partner Dave and coral PhD Jeremy.

leaving shortly - nice 2 1/2 hr drive. :wavehand: gonna be cold :eek2: Bringing my handy dandy Styrofoam cooler with some heat packs. Told my fiancée it was in geddes plaza... the blank stare and her response of " What?!? ITS IN GHETTO PLAZA?!?" :uzi::blown::wildone::bum: was absolutely priceless!

This upgrade from a 30 gal standard to a 125g is gonna be fun! need a ton of rock and livestock. ( just getting some frags today to grow out in the 30) note on our checks say " money talks our says bye-bye " is so true.

Awesome store! We went to geddes street plaza first. (btw thats the ghetto we were thinking of lol) Purchased some pulsing xenia, two percula clowns and a few blue damsels. pics to follow.. interesting trip to say the least.

now.. That was a lousy store! I am not bashing just utterly amazed what some people will sell and how they present a LFS!!

We took the kids to the M.O.S.T. for the living reef IMAX show. lots of fun! they loved it.

I dont have much bad to say about Olean.
My wife grew up in Bradford PA.
We had our wedding reception at the Old Library in Olean.
At that time we lived in Chicago... I had no idea we would end up in Rochester.
Are there any good LFS out there? I get out that way every few months.

I'm probably the last person from URS to go there, but I stopped in at A Reef Creation yesterday while in Buffalo, and all I can say is 'Wow'. Fortunately, they were kind of busy yesterday afternoon when I stopped in, so nobody had any time to help me and take my money. Otherwise I'm sure I would have ended up with one of their beautiful Wrasses, or if nothing else at least one of their many gorgeous frags.

ARC is the choice for the very few of us from olean. GGdowski- I did work at the old library a one time,nice place. I did spend a lot of time in bradford, lived there off and on growing up, worked at W.R. Case and sons Cutlery for a few years. My brother went to school there.
