So I am going to be upgrading to a 62g leemar with 40g sump. The tank is 36x20x20. I am going to be keeping a mixed reef. What tangs could I keep? What anthias and how many could I keep?

IMO, a 36" tank just isn't nearly long enough for any tang. They live on the outer reef and really need the swimming room. A group of 3-4 smaller anthias would probably be ok.

I must have misread your original post; for some reason, I was thinking you had a big, square tank. Age may be catching up with me. IMO, a tank your size is really only big enough for a single Anthias. Groups need a lot of room to sort out the whole alpha fish, who gets to be the male thing.
