Suggestions for clean up crew

I have a 180g with snowflake eel, zebra eel, dog face puffer, fuzzy dwarf lion, Fox face, clown, niger trigger, yellow and sail fin tangs. I did a w/c yesterday rearranging rocks but found a ton of uneaten food and waste under and on the rocks. I was able to shake most of it off in the waste water. My question is what additions could I add to the tank to help remove this waste before it accumulates like it did. Thanks

A brittle or serpent star would do if you didn't have the puffer or trigger. Both of those fish are likely to pick at any starfish until it dies. The Zebra eel will eat any snail it sees more than likely

Yeah that's pretty much what I've come up. I guess the only option is going to be cleaning off and rearranging the rock at every water change to help prevent nitrates from increasing

Either you do what you suggested, get more power heads, or take out a lot of the rockwork. :(. K1 media is awesome in the sump to replace rock or even a fluidized sand bed filter.

With that fish assemblage you'll have a hard/impossible time keeping any kind of clean up crew. Sea cucumbers seem like the only thing that would be likely to survive. But they can only do so much for you and wouldn't help with uneaten food. I'd also suggest increasing the flow to keep extra food from settling. Reduce the feeding a bit and only feed what you see the fish eat.

Okay thanks for the help, I just thought how about a bird wrasse? Does anyone know if one would help since he could get into the crevices.

I doubt a bird wrasse will do as much cleaning as you sound like you need
