Suggestions for my 60 gal.

Ok, I am half convinced that the Tunze is the way to go on my 24" cube tank. Thats about 60 gal.

My question is since the Tunze smallest model has so much flow is there a way to reduce it so it won't cause a hurricane?

Or do I need some other type of powerhead?

Any help is appreciated. I really don't have a problem with the prices even though I think they are a little high. But, I don't want to spend the money on them if they aren't going to work in my tank.

What kind of corals are you keeping and what sort of substrate do you have?

Sand on the bottom of the tank, Some SPS, anemone, and LPS.

I think i would go with a 7400/2 for several reasons. First, a Stream would be barely acceptable in such a small tank in the best circumstances but if you throw the anemone in the mix, the 7400/2 can be made very safe for an anemone with a couple accessories to diffuse the intake area. The pump will pulse and give a broad flow as it has a 1" nozzle and the flow will be plenty.
