I'm going to have my 50 gallon tank setup sooner or later and I've been thinking alot about what to stock it with. I have my heart set on a perc or occelaris clown pair as well as a few gobies. From what I've seen, clowns tend to hang out in one spot and gobies hang near the bottom and/or their burrows. I would like a nice fish, possibly a group of schooling fish, that will use the whole tank. The tank will be housing softies, some lps, and maybe some sps. I would also really like a blood or skunk shrimp. I'm just looking for some nice looking, active fish that won't bother the other inhabitants.
Thanks
Stephen

flasher and fairy wrasse fit the bill, maybe not for schooling in that size tank, but otherwise they won't touch anything, are colorful and swim the entire tank. Check out the top thread in this forum about them.

I am not sure yet if these would fit,But maybe some coral catfish. I saw some of these at the lfs last night. There were seven or 8 in a school.I might get some.very cool

I have 3 green chromis in my 90 gallon. Two of them are model citizens while the third slightly larger fish is territorial and agressive towards the smaller two.

I also have a pink skunk clownfish pair. My pink Skunks are amiable fish who don't seem to bother anyone in the tank much at all...they will however on occasion go after my big chromis if he's too adamant about guarding one of my live rock islands and when the skunks want him out, they make a slight aggressive advance and the large chromis swims off like a coward. My clownfish are regulators =)

I think if you have an Amphiprion Ocellaris pair, they'll probably do the same if you have a problem chromis.
