Suggestions on tankmate for...

I want a tank mate for my Orange tailed Puffer. He's a toby about 3 inches. Any ideas?Got to stay on the smaller side he's got 40 Gal to work with.

In my 45 I have an orange toby, a purple psuedochromis, an arrow crab, and a chocolate chip star. The Toby and psuedochromis were bought at the same time and went through QT together in a 10 gallon. They get along great. The puffer is a messy eater so the psuedo zips around and grabs all the leftovers, sometimes even taking food out of the puffer's mouth.
