Suggestions on what to pair up with my Percula?

Anyway, I decided two clowns are going to be the only fish in my tank (46 gallon), so I'd like to get one that's worth being a centerpiece fish.

The true perc I have now I absolutely love because it's always swimming around and eating out of my hand, so replacing it is out of the question.

I was thinking about pairing up the perc with an Onyx or Picasso. Platinum is out of the question due to price.

Anyone have any suggestions or a pair of different genera paired together?


Also, I'll probably be getting a Haddoni for them along with the BTA that's already in my tank.

I would say you might be able to pair it with most of the fish in the Ocellaris and Percula complex!IMO,some of the percula,ocellaris morphs!

I have a perc onyx mix and love them.

Doni has some awesome picasso's that darken up like the onyx, that way you'll get the best of both worlds

Just remember it can take longer for a perc to darken compared to a Ocellaris.

i vote another true perc, but then again im kind of biased... i dont like all of the morphs and platinums and nakeds and such

JT is right. My onyx was not black at all when I bought it. It wasn't even sold as an onyx. Not sure the LFS knew.
