I am thinking about adding a group of anthias to my newly established 265 gallon tank. Any suggestions on which ones would add nice color to the tank? From looking at pictures the bartlett's anthias is catching my eye, however I have not had a chance to see them in person. Thanks for the input.

I like these for Oranges/Pinks/Reds!

I like these for Oranges/Pinks/Reds!

Redstripe Anthias (7"): The Red Striped Anthias does best when kept with its own species in a tank of at least 125 gallons. In their natural habitat, Red Striped Anthias inhabit cave entrances and ledges of seaward reefs. In the home aquarium, Anthias typically dwells in the middle of a tank but appreciates the availability of several hiding places. Anthias species all share the trait of being hermaphroditic. If a dominant male perishes, the largest female of the group will often morph to take its place.

Resplendant Anthias: Resplendent Anthias generally stay in the middle levels of the tank, but also require plenty of caves, ledges, and other hiding places. Although a 70-gallon tank will suffice for one fish, if keeping a group of one male and several females, a 125-gallon tank or larger tank is needed.

Dispar Anthias: The Dispar Anthias is a reef inhabitant in the wild. It is a shallow water species that thrives best in a 125 gallon aquarium with one male and up to ten females. When housed singly, 70 gallon tank is sufficient.

No, no, go with one of the two easier to keep species, either Bartletts or Lyretails. I have had more personal success with, and prefer, the former; but Lyretails are nice too, I could just never keep a stable group. Bartletts can be feisty, but that is a good thing IMO in a community tank.

Resplendents are stunning, no question, but resist the urge as they really need a cooler tank. Not a good choice IMO.
