Summer Project Is it to Late?

This summer I am going to try to construct a New Aquarium Stand on my 55 Gallon. Right now I have the Basic Black stand 48x12x28 Was wondering how much bigger I should go? Also I was thinking of installing a Overflow Box with Sump/Refugium. I was wondering for ideas on what I should do and how to construct this project. My glass is not drilled so there will be no drilling to install the Sump. Let me know of some ideas....

What size sump are you thinking of doing? I would look into the life reef line of overflow boxes.

I want to first make my Stand so hopefully I can get around 48x24x28.

I want to make enough room so I can have at least a 30 gallon sump almost making it so were I have about half of my tank size of a Sump/Refugium. Were can I get the Over Flow box your talking about is there a Website for it?
