Are you going to have any of these next weekend? My girlfriend lives in Orlando and sees me on the weekends, if you would bring some corals to like a gas station down the street, I could give her some cash to pay you with. :) Let me know.

PMs returned.

I am available today and all weekend. Feel free to call my cell to setup times.

How quick a grower are these 2: Steve Elias Staghorn & Branching Green Acropora Loisetteia.

Will they both be ok up high is a 150w 14k about 6" under water?

Thanks
Jason

LowreDranger - Do you currently keep any other sps?

Both of these grow like weeds. They are the two fastest growing acros in my tank. They also seem to be the hardiest. I keep mine about 12" away from a 250W 20K Radium.

If you put these where you are thinking, they should be fine. Also, Calcium and Magnesium levels need to be high enough for all sps.

I do not currently have any SPS looking to add my first couple pieces i only have lps and zoo's at the moment. Elegance and frogspawn are doing well just picked up a gonipora and a RBTA. All doing well. I was really only looking for a couple good sps that grow fast to grow out into the water column since the lps doesn't really grow out as much.

Thanks.

These two pieces would be perfect for that. The only concern would be while lighting is a big part of their survival, the right levels of Calcium and even Magnesium are just as important.

There are very easy ways to add Clacium in a safe way to the tank in order to make sure that not just sps but also your lps survive and thrive in the longterm. Your Elegance, Frogspawn and Gonipora will need adequate levels of Calcium too to build their skeletons.

If you want to bring by a water sample, I will test it for Calcium and can show you the easy (and cheap) ways to keep these levels where you want them.

Also, if for some reason any of the frags I give you do not make it in the first couple of months, just let me know and I will gladly give you a replacement frag for free when one is available.

Thanks i will do that. I believe my levels are good my calcium is a little high at the moment b/c i added some additional calcium supplements when the kalk top off was already sufficient.

A lot of you expressed interest in coming by this weekend to pick up some frags. I will be around the house doing housework and will not be checking reefcentral too much.

If you would like to come by, call my cell

Thanks for the pieces. They seem to be doing good already seeing some polyp extension. Awesome looking tank by the way.

Thanks

Thanks Jason. It was nice meeting you. Keep me informed on the corals.

Scott - Yes, have some people coming by today but there is some stuff left. Feel free to come over or call.

Matt,

So far I think everything is great. The Zoa's opened already and seem to be settling is so far!

I'm adding you to my buddy list. Let me know next time you come to a football game. Maybe we can meet up and I can get some more corals from you and if I have anything you like we can do the same!

Thanks pal! Very nice tank too.
