I wanted a bigger sump so I build one, This is build out of PVC Foam Board easy to work with better than Acrylic . This stuff is very light weight don't need special tool like Acrylic. Here is some Pictures and I use Weld-On 2007 to put it together. Any questions let me know.

Cool! This is the first sump build with foam board PVC that I've seen. I'd be interested to see an update or two down the road. Don't tell my wife, but now you've got me thinking about building a frag tank ;)

looks beautifully white :D

very interesting, can you give some information about the material, i suppose it is pretty strong, rigid?

what are the dimensions and how much was the total build cost? And i suppose how much time do you have in it as well...time is money :-)
by the way it looks great, awesome job!!!

Sump up and running takes a look. Now as far as cost and time. The cost for the PVC Foam board 84.00 dollars for a 4 X 8 ft. sheet and were I bought it at they cut it to what I wanted and I cut some pieces I need. The weld-On 2007 and dispenser 66 dollars. And the time 6 Hrs. Off and on... Most I had to do was glue it together and cut some small pieces. So for 150 dollars made my sump and had some left over maybe to do one or two more all depending how big. Here is some picture.
