Sump design Question

I'm upgrading my 90 to a 220 and would like to build a custom sump. I'll be running a Waveline DC12000 pump. At 5.5 ft of head the pump should be running about 2400 gph maxed out.

The way I've got the sump design now, the water flows through 2 socks, into the skimmer section, then into a macro Algae section. The width in the macro section is 11.5 inches.

I did some orifice calcs and found that I'd need 6 slots 2.5 inches tall to get me to 2400 gph. But that doesn't sound right to me.

Do any of you know how many and how wide of a 10" slot I'd need to get the flow to 2400 gph? Planning to run a 14" water depth.

Thanks,
Eric
