Was wondering what people with a 46G bowfront tanks are using for a sump? My cabinet only has about 10" front to back so I can't use a cheap 20 Gallon tank. Is there another option beside building a custom one?

I have a small wet/dry, but am wanting to switch to a refugium. Have the same problem with only 10 inches of width available. May end up using a hang on the back unit. Any better ideas?

i have the same stand. i squeezed in a 10 gallon with an hang on skimmer and external pump! this allowed more room for a small fuge!

i will tank pics when i get home from work so you can see an example!

here you go. how to do a 20 long under a 46 bow stand.

note you have to take off the center brace from the back and one of the boards off each side on the back. stick a 2x4 up under the back of the tank horazontaly for extra suport.

and the peices that you took off will work great for the suport under the 20 in the front. they are just the right thickness is you dbl stack them.
