ok. so now im all "yeah.. i can do this.. i dont really need help...do i? idk...whatever ill do it"

so im takin the silicone off from where the ... loose/broken away baffle was and i realize...

when i get to the silicon seal on the tank what do i do? i mean.. if silicone doesnt stick to silicone... what should i do? when i was scraping it off (the baffle silicone) i just left a bit of it where it was touching the tank silicone.

im really not sure what to?

should i just leave the extra at the bottom and when i re do it should i just cake it in at the corners?

i dont suppose anyone has every done this (im sure someone has..hint, tips!)

thanks

Silicone will stick to silicone, just not that well. More than likely it will hold well enough to hold your baffles in place. As far as the old stuff trim off as much as you can but dont go too deep or you will make a weak seal.
